Tulum Festivals

Tulum festival guide for 2027 with confirmed dates, lineups and ticket updates for Day Zero, Zamna, 7 Realms, Solomun at Tehmplo and more.

Updated August 19, 2026

Tulum festival season returns around New Year with events spread across jungle venues, beach clubs, cenotes and other locations around town. Rather than one festival taking over the city, the season is made up of separate events, artist showcases and multi-date series that run from late December into January.

This is our live guide to the 2027 Tulum festival season. We update it as dates, lineups, venues, tickets and set times are officially announced, so you can keep one page bookmarked rather than trying to piece together information from old festival calendars.

The season is still taking shape. Day Zero has already released its full 2027 lineup, Solomun has confirmed his return to Tehmplo, Zamna has opened its 2027 Multipass, and a new seven-date daytime series called 7 Realms will run across Tulum from January 1–13. More announcements are expected as the season gets closer.

7 Realms — January 1–13, 2027

7 Realms is a new festival created by Tulum Bible, taking place across seven dates from January 1 to 13, 2027. Every other day, the festival moves to a different location around Tulum, with each realm built around its own setting, music and collaborators.

We created 7 Realms to bring more of Tulum into festival season. Instead of keeping everything inside one festival ground, the series will connect people with local venues, hotels and businesses across town while giving each event a completely different setting. All seven events take place during the day, leaving the nights open for the rest of Tulum’s January calendar.

There is also a points system running alongside the festival. People can earn points by inviting friends, completing challenges, checking in at participating local venues and attending the realms themselves. Those points can be used for rewards including discounted and free tickets, drinks and upgrades, while the leaderboard gives participants the chance to win additional prizes.

The seven dates are January 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13, but the realms, locations, collaborators and lineups will be revealed gradually rather than all at once.

If you want to see each realm as it is announced — and start taking part before tickets go on sale — sign up at 7realms.mx.

Coming up

January 2027

  • Solomun Tulum 2027

    • 22:00Doors
    • MXN 2350Tickets

Solomun returns to Tehmplo on Thursday, January 7, 2027, continuing what has become a regular January date for the Diynamic founder in Tulum. Tehmplo has confirmed Solomun and opened priority ticket registration, while the supporting artists, final schedule and VIP packages are still to be announced.

Technically, this is not a multi-day festival, but we include it in this guide because it has become one of the main dates people plan around during festival season.

The attraction is different from a large Zamna event or Day Zero. Tehmplo is focused around one main dancefloor, and Solomun's recent appearances there have been built around extended sets rather than a large multi-stage lineup.

    Date: Thursday, January 7, 2027
    Venue: Tehmplo Tulum
    Headliner: Solomun
    Support: TBA
    Set times: TBA
    Priority registration: Open

  • Day Zero Tulum 2027

    • 20:00Doors
    • 12:00Ends
    • TicketsNot announced

Day Zero returns to the Tulum jungle on Saturday, January 9, 2027 with its new edition, Begin Again. Damian Lazarus has selected 30 artists across three stages, with one additional special guest still being kept back. The event runs through the night from sunset into sunrise.

The 2027 lineup includes &ME, Chloé Caillet, Culoe De Song, Damian Lazarus, Dan Ghenacia, Deer Jade, Jane Fitz, LP Giobbi, Mira, Mita Gami, Robag Wruhme, RPR Soundsystem, Satori (Live), Secret Echoes (Live), Tiga, Victor Calderone, Vintage Culture and more. One “Very Special Guest” remains TBA.

Day Zero is different from most of the January events because the festival is built as a full night rather than around a single headline set. There are three stages, live performances and different spaces throughout the jungle, so it makes more sense to arrive for the event as a whole rather than only showing up for one artist.

    Date: Saturday, January 9, 2027
    Location: Tulum jungle
Hours: Sunset to sunrise; exact gate and set times TBA
    Stages: 3
Artists: 30 announced + special guest TBA

The first ticket release has already passed. General Release is scheduled for August 25, with registered guests receiving access at 12pm Tulum time and the public sale beginning at 4pm.

Zamna Festival Tulum 2027

Zamna Tulum is confirmed for the 2027 season, but this is the section that will change the most over the next few months.

At the moment, Zamna has opened sales for its Tulum 2027 Multipass, while the individual artist showcases and festival nights have not yet been officially published. The pass provides codes that can be exchanged for tickets to three Zamna events once the calendar is available.

That distinction matters because Zamna is not normally one continuous festival where a single ticket gives you access to every night. It is a season of individual events at the same large jungle venue. In 2026, for example, its programme included separate dates for David Guetta, ANTS, RÜFÜS DU SOL, No Art, Keinemusik, Adriatique's X, Mayan Warrior and other artists and brands. Those were 2026 events and should not be treated as confirmed for 2027.

Zamna is also heading into its tenth-anniversary year in 2027, and its official channels have begun promoting Tulum as the start of that anniversary season.

For now, the important thing is simple:

Zamna Tulum 2027 is happening. The individual nights and lineups are still TBA.

We will add every confirmed Zamna date here as soon as the official programme starts to come out.

Location: Zamna Tulum

Zamna Tulum 2027 dates

No individual 2027 events have been officially announced yet.

This section will become the main Zamna calendar once releases begin.

More Tulum festival announcements are coming

If the calendar looks lighter than previous years right now, that is because it is still August 2026.

Day Zero is unusually far ahead with its full lineup already announced. Zamna, meanwhile, has confirmed its Tulum return and started selling Multipasses but has not yet revealed the individual 2027 programme. Tehmplo currently lists Solomun as its first major January announcement.

We would rather leave a date blank than publish rumours as confirmed events.

As new festivals, venue programmes and artist showcases are officially announced, we will add them to this page in date order.

When is festival season in Tulum?

The main electronic music season generally sits around New Year and the first half of January. Your previous seasons have seen large event calendars develop across Zamna, Tehmplo, Day Zero and other venues during that period.

For 2027, confirmed events currently run from January 1 through January 13, with Zamna also preparing its New Year season.

The result is not really one festival week. It is closer to two weeks where several independent programmes overlap.

That is worth remembering when choosing dates. If music is an important part of the trip, look at the full calendar before booking flights rather than travelling for one event alone.

Where should you stay during Tulum festival season?

There is no single best area because the events do not all happen in the same place.

Tulum town and Aldea Zama give you a useful middle ground for restaurants, villas and getting around. The Hotel Zone makes sense if most of your plans are around the beach, but festival traffic can make the road slower at busy times.

If several jungle events are part of your trip, think about transportation as much as the hotel itself. A beautiful hotel is less useful if every event means a difficult trip across town.

For groups, a villa can also make sense because everyone can stay together and makes scheduled transport considerably easier.

Getting to Tulum festivals

For the larger January events, arranging transport before the night is usually easier than trying to work it out when thousands of people are leaving at the same time.

Different venues sit in very different parts of Tulum. Tehmplo is on the Tulum–Boca Paila road at Km 5.5, while Day Zero takes place in a separate jungle setting and Zamna has its own festival grounds.

If you have several festival dates planned, a driver for the night or for the full stay can be easier than arranging each journey separately.

Tulum Bible can help arrange private transportation around your event schedule.

Tulum festival tickets and tables

The safest option is always to buy festival tickets through the official organiser or its authorised ticketing partner.

We also list confirmed Tulum events on our event calendar, where you can check dates, venue information and available booking options.

For events that offer tables or other group packages, Tulum Bible can also help send the reservation request to the relevant venue or organiser.

Do not assume a ticket advertised on a resale site reflects the original price, particularly before the official release has started.

How past seasons have looked

Tulum's festival formula has been stable for years: a dense core from New Year's Eve to mid-January around Zamna and Day Zero, with beach-club series carrying the rest of the winter. For a feel of how a season plays out night by night, read our Zamna season recap and the story of Mayan Warrior's move to Zamna. The dates and lineups above always reflect the current season.

Planning your festival trip

You do not need to build the entire trip around late nights.

With daytime events, jungle festivals, beach clubs, restaurants, cenotes and the rest of Tulum running at the same time, the best festival trips usually leave some space between the major dates.

Use our Tulum Events calendar for individual parties and set times as they are announced, or message us if you want help putting together transportation, reservations and the rest of the trip.

Tulum, on your terms.

  • How often will this guide be updated?
Throughout the season. This is now our evergreen Tulum Festivals page, so new dates, lineups, ticket releases and practical information will be added here rather than creating a separate guide every year.
  • How much are Tulum festival tickets?
Prices vary by event. Early-release tickets for headline nights generally start around $100 USD and rise to $250+ USD as the date approaches. VIP tickets and table packages cost considerably more — table pricing for the big Zamna and Day Zero nights is listed on each event page.
