An Anniversary Edition Built Around Dinner and Dancing
The Gypsy Disco Special Edition marks another year of Gitano Jungle’s Friday party on December 18. The anniversary night starts at 6 PM and runs until late. Local DJs provide the music rather than a touring headliner. Dinner, mezcal cocktails and dancing all take place within the same open-air venue. The format lets you begin at the table and stay as the room turns into a party.
Local DJs Take Disco, Funk and Groove Into the Night
Gypsy Disco has run every Friday since 2013. Its DJs are local, with sets moving through disco, funk, groove and nu-disco. The format is a dinner party first, then the pace rises as guests move toward the dance floor. You are not paying for a short headline set or a large concert production. The value is a full evening shaped around food, cocktails and feel-good dance music.
From Candlelit Decks to the Jungle Room Disco Ball
Gitano Jungle combines a modern Mexican dining room, mezcal bar, lounge and dance floor. Dinner begins on candlelit wooden decks set among thick palm foliage. Later, the focus moves toward the indoor-outdoor Jungle Room. A pink neon sign and giant suspended disco ball define the space as the room shifts from seated service to dancing. The venue is LGBTQIA+ welcoming and regularly draws international groups, birthday parties and other celebration-led crowds.
Open-Fire Mexican Plates and More Than 50 Mezcals
The kitchen serves modern Mexican sharing plates made with seasonal local ingredients, open fire and wood grills. Regular dishes include octopus zarandeado and pork al pastor tacos. Vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free and dairy-free dishes are marked on the menu, and you should tell your waiter about any allergy. The bar carries more than 50 mezcals and uses seasonal fruit and herbs in its cocktails. Jungle Fever and Gypsy Disco 75 are two of its signature drinks. A four-course Mexican menu with champagne and mezcal cocktail pairings is also available as part of the Gypsy Disco format.
A Friday Format for Groups Who Want the Whole Evening
This night suits you if your group wants dinner and dancing without changing venues. Arrive at 6 PM if the meal and cocktails matter as much as the music. Come later if the Jungle Room and local DJ sets are your priority. Table reservations and local guest-list access form part of the announced special-edition format. The venue normally offers bottle service from 4,000 MXN per person, plus 15% service.
