A Candlelit Saturday from Dinner into the Night
Ceremonia returns to Gitano Beach in Tulum on Saturday 7 November. The weekly party starts at 6PM and runs late, moving from dinner and mezcal service to DJ sets and dancing. This date falls on a non-full-moon Saturday, the regular slot for the series. The candlelit format centres on sound, connection and movement beside the beach. You can arrive for dinner and stay as the dance floor takes over the evening.
Organic House with Afro-Latin Rhythm
The music moves through organic house, downtempo, afro house, electro house and disco. Afro-latin rhythms and tribal percussion give the series its central pulse. The resident lineup includes Tiago Dima, Prah and Badaoui. The format links seated dinner, cocktails and a dance floor rather than separating them into different events. The Ceremonia concept began in Tulum and has since run in New York and Dubai.
Mexican Cooking from the Grill and Comal
Chef Alexandros Gkoutsi’s menu combines modern Mexican cooking with Mediterranean touches. The open-fire setup supports grilled seafood, roasted meats, tacos and vegetable plates. Cochinita pibil tacos with habanero and salsa verde are one of the kitchen’s anchor dishes. Mezcal cocktails sit at the centre of the drinks service. Dinner is part of the party format, so you can begin at a table before moving to the dance floor.
Part of Gitano’s Wider Music Programme
Gitano Beach normally hosts DJs from Thursday through Sunday from 1 PM. Its regular sets span deep house, tropical house, nu-disco, indie dance and melodic house. Other recurring sessions include Full Moon Rising, Gypsy Disco, Sunset Fiesta and Las Gitanas. The Sunday Beach BBQ Fiesta adds food and daytime music to the weekly schedule. Past venue lineups have included Emanuel Satie, Savage & She, and Tom & Collins.
GITANO Records extends that programme through playlists, live recordings and DJ sets. Its catalogue focuses on organic house, deep house, downtempo and disco house. Full Moon Rising follows the monthly lunar calendar, while this Saturday series takes the non-full-moon dates. That structure gives the party a fixed place in the venue’s programme rather than treating it as a one-off event.
