Friday Dinner and Dancing from MXN $290

Gypsy Disco returns to Gitano Jungle on Friday, 4 December 2026. Tickets for this edition start at MXN $290. Dinner service begins at 6 PM, while the DJs and show are billed from 8PM until late. The format moves from modern Mexican food and cocktails into disco, funk, groove and nu disco. You can arrive for dinner or make the dance floor the focus of your night.

A Weekly Party Built Around Local DJs

Gypsy Disco has taken place every Friday night since 2013. It is a resident dinner party rather than a guest-headliner booking. Local DJs play feel-good sets across disco, funk, groove and nu disco. The wider Friday sound also covers deep house, indie dance, Latin rhythms and melodic house. A show is part of this edition, and the music builds as dinner gives way to dancing in the Jungle Room. This long-running format gives Friday a different pace from the venue’s other nights.

Pink Neon and a Floating Disco Ball

Gitano Jungle combines an open-air dining room, mezcal bar, lounge and dance floor on the jungle side of Tulum’s Hotel Zone. The original venue opened on Beach Road in 2013. Candlelit wooden decks sit among thick palm foliage, while a pink neon sign marks the venue. Later, the focus shifts toward the indoor-outdoor Jungle Room. Its suspended disco ball hangs above the dance floor and forms the centre of the Friday party. You can stay in one place as the night moves from seated dinner to music and dancing.

Open-Fire Mexican Food and Mezcal Cocktails

The kitchen serves modern Mexican sharing plates made with seasonal local ingredients, open fire and wood grills. Options include octopus zarandeado, pork al pastor tacos, lobster tostada, short rib birria, carne asada and roasted cauliflower with pipián. A four-course Mexican menu with champagne and mezcal cocktail pairings is also available. The bar carries more than 50 mezcals and uses locally grown seasonal fruit and herbs in its cocktails. Jungle Fever and the namesake 75 are two house signatures. Vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free and dairy-free dishes are marked on the menu, and you should tell your waiter about any allergy or restriction.

Tables, Bottle Service and Group Celebrations

Friday draws an international, event-led crowd, including birthday groups and bachelorette parties. The venue is LGBTQIA+ welcoming. Reservations and VIP tables are part of the format, alongside dinner, dancing and bottle service. The venue’s standing terms list a cover of 1,000 MXN per person and bottle service from 4,000 MXN per person, plus 15% service; these are separate from the event ticket starting at MXN $290. Birthday options include chocolate cake or tequila, lime and almond cake, with sparklers, bubbles and a short personalised message available. This setup suits groups that want food, drinks and a dance floor without changing venues.

Plan Your Friday at Gitano Jungle

The party takes place at Gitano Jungle, Boca Paila Km 7.5, in Tulum’s Hotel Zone. Dinner service starts at 6 PM, and the DJs and show are billed from 8PM until late. The venue normally closes at 3 AM on Fridays, although this edition is advertised only as continuing late. Friday reservations are recommended because these nights draw the venue’s largest event-focused crowds. Buy your ticket through Tulum Bible, with entry starting at MXN $290.
