Dinner First, Disco After Dark
Gypsy Disco runs at Gitano Jungle Tulum on Friday, 11 September 2026. The established dinner-and-dancing series brings local DJs, a live show and a modern Mexican menu to the Jungle Room. The evening starts at 6PM, while the DJs and show are billed from 8PM until late. Arrive early for dinner and cocktails, or come later as the room moves into dancing.
Local DJs and Feel-Good Friday Music
Gypsy Disco has run every Friday since 2013. The series books local DJs rather than touring headliners, keeping the focus on the party instead of one name. Sets move through disco, funk, groove and nu disco. The music is built for a gradual shift from the dinner tables to the dance floor. It is a weekly format with its own sound, not a one-off club booking.
Pink Neon, Candlelight and a Floating Disco Ball
The Jungle Room has a pink neon glow and a floating disco ball above the dance floor. Candlelight and palms frame the tables around the room. As dinner winds down, the space changes from a restaurant into the energetic dance floor that defines Friday nights at Gitano. A live show is also part of this edition. VIP tables and bottle service are available if you want to keep a table as the party builds.
Mexican Sharing Plates and a 50-Mezcal Bar
Gitano Jungle serves locally sourced, shared-style food prepared with traditional methods. Gypsy Disco pairs that approach with a modern Mexican menu designed for a dinner party rather than a quick meal before dancing. A four-course Mexican menu with champagne and mezcal cocktail pairings is available. The bar carries more than 50 mezcals and makes cocktails with locally grown seasonal fruits and herbs. Signature drinks include the Jungle Fever cocktail.
