Chema Diaz Leads the Lineup From 6pm

Full Moon Rising brings Chema Diaz, Lessy and Prah to Gitano Beach Tulum on Saturday, September 26. Chema Diaz headlines, with Lessy and Prah also playing DJ sets. The party starts at 6pm and continues into the late hours, moving from sunset into a beachfront night session. Electronic music and an international crowd shape the format. This edition also adds a guest bartender takeover for Negroni Week.

Three DJs for a Sunset-to-Late Beach Session

The lineup is built around three billed DJs rather than a single live act. Chema Diaz takes the headline position, supported by Lessy and Prah. Full Moon Rising follows the lunar calendar as a recurring Gitano Beach party. The night centres on electronic sounds, while the venue’s regular programme spans deep house, tropical house, nu-disco, indie dance and melodic house. The 6pm start gives you time for sunset before the session moves into its later phase.

Guest Bartenders Take Over for Negroni Week

Guest bartenders take control of the bar during this Negroni Week edition. They will serve a special selection of cocktails created for the occasion. The programme is presented with Imbibe and Campari’s Negroni Week. It runs alongside a regular drinks menu centred on mezcal cocktails. The takeover gives this Full Moon Rising session a separate bar programme as well as its three-DJ lineup.

Beach Club With a Giant Disco Ball

Gitano Beach occupies a 120-metre strip of sand beside Casa Gitano in the southern Hotel Zone. Cushioned sunbeds, cabanas, bamboo benches and black-and-white striped tipis form the main seating areas. A giant disco ball marks the dance-focused side of the venue. The covered palapa holds an open-fire kitchen with a wood-burning oven, grill and comal. The layout suits groups and couples, with the energy normally rising around sunset.

Wood-Fired Mexican Food Before the Late Session

Chef Alexandros Gkoutsi’s menu combines Mexican cooking with Mediterranean touches. Cochinita pibil tacos with habanero and salsa verde are one of its anchor dishes. The kitchen also serves grilled seafood, roasted meats, tacos and vegetable plates from its open-fire setup. Food service normally runs from 11 AM to 9 PM. Guests with allergies or dietary restrictions should tell their waiter before ordering.
