Maria Nocheydia Leads the Sunset-to-Late Session
Full Moon Rising takes place at Gitano Beach on Saturday, August 29, with Maria Nocheydia headlining. The party starts at 6PM and runs late, moving from sunset into a full beach-night format. Electronic DJ sets shape the programme, with house, techno, organic house, tribal house and melodic techno in the mix. Maria Nocheydia is the sole billed performer, giving the night a focused lineup rather than a long running order. The crowd brings together local and international guests on the beach.
The Full Moon Sound That Helped Shape Tulum Nights
The wider Full Moon series is one of the parties that shaped Tulum’s nightlife. Its monthly format at Papaya Playa Project falls on the Saturday closest to the full moon and pairs international DJs with PPP residents. The music leans toward tribal, groove-led electronic sounds, with food and art running alongside the sets. Its regular schedule is 8pm to 3am, with last entry at 1am. This edition has its own announced timing of 6PM — LATE.
Gitano Beach on the Southern Side of the Hotel Zone
Gitano Beach sits at Av Boca Paila KM 9.5, Tulum Beach, Zona Costera, 77780 Tulum, Q.R. The beach club is on the southern side of the Hotel Zone, near the Sian Ka’an biosphere reserve. Introduced in 2021, it has since moved beside the boutique hotel Casa Gitano. The venue combines a beach-club layout with lively disco evenings. It belongs to the Gitano Group, which also operates Gitano Jungle, Meze and locations in New York City, Miami and Dubai.
Mexican Plates, Mezcal Cocktails and Reserved Tables
The beach club serves Mexican flavours with international influences and uses local ingredients across its menu. Signature mezcal cocktails are part of the venue’s regular drinks offering, while its Sunday programme includes a Beach BBQ Fiesta.
