A Candlelit Concert Beside the Cenote

Concert Nights is a live music series built for people who want to hear music in a close, personal setting rather than a crowd. Each edition brings together guest artists and a repertoire chosen for that night, so no two evenings sound the same. This one runs from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Vesica Santuario, surrounded by jungle and lit by candlelight. The idea is simple: music, nature and community in one place, for four hours. Food and drink are served through the evening, so you can settle in and stay.

What the Evening Is Like

The setting is the quiet half of Vesica — the Santuario, built around the natural cenotes in the jungle north of town. Instead of the daytime day-club pace, the evening is still and low-lit, with candles and the water close by. Guests are asked to respect the silence and atmosphere during the performance, so the music stays at the centre of the night. The repertoire explores different musical worlds from one edition to the next, which is the whole point of the series. You come to listen, eat and share the room with the people around you.

Vesica runs this kind of live programming alongside its other series. Past editions of Concert Nights have set harp, violin and piano to Mexican song and classical works, and the venue also hosts its Santuario candlelight sessions of live classical and chamber music. The concept and the artists for this edition are revealed closer to the date. What stays the same is the format and the setting: a seated concert in a jungle sanctuary.

Food and Drink Through the Night

Food and drink are available during the event, served alongside the music. Vesica's kitchen works farm-to-table, led by Chef Cesar Castañeda, using seasonal regional Yucatecan ingredients and open wood-fire cooking. The bar is built around Mexican distillates. The meals are made to match the slow, eco-conscious spirit of the place rather than rushed service, so the food is part of the evening rather than a break from it.

Seating, Check-In and Arriving On Time

Seating is limited and varies by ticket type, so where you sit depends on the ticket you hold. Doors open before the concert starts, and you check in with the concierge on arrival. Arrive on time for a smooth entry. Guest list tickets are valid only within their designated time, and late arrivals may be subject to availability or require a ticket upgrade. Because the room is small and the night is built around quiet listening, it pays to be settled before the music begins.
