Saturday Ceremonia Moves from Dinner to Late Night
On Saturday, September 5, 2026, Ceremonia comes to Gitano Jungle Tulum for a night built around music, movement and connection. The programme starts at 6PM and runs late, taking you from dinner into the dance floor. Candlelight flickers through the palms while the soundtrack carries the room through the evening. This is a Jungle edition of Gitano’s recurring Saturday format rather than a standalone artist show. Tickets start at MXN $770 that incldues open bar but also free guestlist available.
The Tulum-Born Series and Its Resident Lineup
Ceremonia started in Tulum and has since run in New York and Dubai. Its regular home is the beachfront Gitano Beach, where it takes place on non-full-moon Saturdays from 6pm into the night. The resident lineup includes Tiago Dima, Prah and Badaoui. Dinner, mezcal service, DJ sets and a dance floor form the core of the series. This September edition brings that established format to Gitano Jungle.
Organic House, Afro-Latin Rhythm and Disco
Ceremonia’s music moves between organic house, downtempo, afro house, electro house and disco. Afro-latin rhythms and tribal percussion are also central to the series sound. The soundtrack is planned to run through dinner and continue deep into the evening. Dancing and gathering are part of the format from the start. You can treat the night as dinner followed by music, or arrive ready for the dance floor.
Shared Plates, 50 Mezcals and Signature Cocktails
Gitano Jungle is a restaurant, so food is part of the setting rather than an add-on. Its usual menu uses seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, shared plates and traditional cooking methods. The bar carries more than 50 mezcals. Hand-made cocktails use locally grown seasonal fruits and herbs, while the Jungle Fever is one of the venue’s known signatures. Ceremonia adds its own dinner-to-late-night flow with signature cocktail service throughout the evening.
A Decade of Gitano Jungle After Dark
Gitano Jungle has been part of Tulum for more than ten years. On regular nights, the restaurant changes from shared dining into a dance-focused space as the evening develops. Its Jungle Room is used for disco, cheering and dancing, including the venue’s established Friday Gypsy Disco party. Gitano describes the space as LGBTQIA+ welcoming. The wider Gitano Group also operates Meze and Gitano Beach in Tulum, with concepts in NYC, Miami Beach and Dubai.
