Ceremonia Returns for a Saturday Dinner and Dance Session
Ceremonia returns to Gitano Beach on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The party runs 6PM — LATE on one of the series’ regular non-full-moon Saturdays. Dinner and mezcal cocktails lead into a beachfront dance floor and DJ sets. Candlelight and sacred copal shape the setting for the night. The music covers organic house, downtempo, Afro-inspired rhythms, electro house and disco. It suits couples and groups who want dinner and dancing in the same place.
A Tulum-Born Series That Reached New York and Dubai
Ceremonia began in Tulum before running in New York and Dubai. At the beach club, it returns weekly on Saturdays that do not coincide with the full moon. The format connects a Mexican dinner menu, mezcal service and a dance floor rather than treating them as separate parts of the night. Music, connection and dance are the central themes. Each Saturday session starts at 6PM and continues into the night.
Organic House, Tribal Percussion and Disco
The series’ sound starts with organic house and downtempo, alongside Afro-Latin rhythms and tribal percussion. Electro house and disco add a more direct dance-floor edge. Its resident pool includes Tiago Dima, Prah and Badaoui. Their music sits within a wider programme that also covers deep house, tropical house, nu-disco, indie dance and melodic house. The range links dinner, mezcal service and dancing within one continuous Saturday format.
Mexican Dinner, Open Fire and Mezcal Service
The party pairs its dance programme with a modern Mexican dinner menu and mezcal cocktail service. Chef Alexandros Gkoutsi combines Mexican cooking with Mediterranean touches. The palapa covers an open-fire kitchen equipped with a wood-burning oven, grill and comal. Cochinita pibil tacos with habanero and salsa verde are one of the menu’s anchor dishes. Guests with allergies or dietary restrictions should tell their waiter before ordering.
A Beach Club That Builds Toward Sunset
Gitano Beach opened in February 2021 and now operates beside Casa Gitano. It belongs to Grupo Gitano, which also has properties in Miami, New York and Dubai. Regular days begin with food, drinks and beach seating before the energy rises around sunset. DJs usually play Thursday through Sunday from 1 PM. The wider programme includes Full Moon Rising, Gypsy Disco, Sunset Fiesta, Las Gitanas and the Sunday Beach BBQ Fiesta. Lounge chairs, single sunbeds, double beach beds and beach suites provide different amounts of space, while towels are normally available for a separate rental fee.
Start at 6PM in Tulum’s Southern Hotel Zone
Gitano Beach is at Av Boca Paila KM 9.5, Tulum Beach, Zona Costera, 77780 Tulum, Q.R. The venue sits in the southern part of Tulum’s Hotel Zone, close to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. Its regular daily hours are 11:00 - 23:00, but this party follows its own 6PM — LATE schedule. Dinner tables normally use two-hour seating windows, while the music continues into the night.
